Tuscan Swizzle

For cocktail:

Total time: 20-30 minutes (if making Matcha Cordial)

For Matcha Cordial:

Prep time: 5 minutes

Total time: 10 minutes

Makes 1.5 quarts

Ingredients

  • Torresella Prosecco Rosé - 3 oz.
  • Marigold flowers - 2 buds
  • Matcha cordial - 0.75 oz.
  • Lime juice - 1 oz.
  • Crushed ice
  • Garnish: Marigold flower and mint sprig
  • For the Matcha Cordial
  • Matcha tea - 5 grams
  • Granulated sugar - 1.5 quarts
  • Water - 1 quart

Instructions

For the Matcha Cordial

To make your Matcha Cordial, fill a large pot with water and place it over medium-high heat. Once the water begins to boil, reduce the heat to medium and add the Matcha tea. Let it brew for about 4 minutes before removing it from the heat. Next, grab a container of sugar and pour in the contents of the pot. Mix the sugar and tea well until the sugar has dissolved. Finishing up, allow the mixture to cool before labeling and dating the container. Store it in the refrigerator for later use.

 

For the cocktail

Start by placing ice and ingredients in your favorite glass or mason jar. Next, pour the Torresella Prosecco Rosé over the ice and ingredients, filling the glass up to around three-quarters. Then, mix all the ingredients with a mixing spoon until well-blended. For a beautiful finishing touch, garnish with a lovely Marigold flower and fresh mint sprig, and enjoy!
