Calabrian Mule

Total time: 30 minutes (if making Thyme Reduction)
Makes 1 Glass

Ingredients

  • 4 oz Prosecco
  • 2 oz Ginger Beer
  • 1½ oz Tangerine Juice
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • ¾ oz Thyme Reduction
  • Ice: Crushed
  • Garnishes: Thyme Sprig and Tangerine slice
  • For Thyme Reduction:
  • 6 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1½ oz Thyme

Instructions

For the Thyme Reduction:

Add water to a pot and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, add the thyme. Cover and lower the heat, letting the mix steep for approximately 10 minutes. Remove the pan from heat, strain out the thyme, and add the granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Let the mixture cool and transfer to a sealable container, then refrigerate. Label and date the container, and enjoy your thyme reduction for the next two to three weeks! 

 

For the Cocktail:

Place all ingredients, except the Torresella Prosecco and ginger beer, into your cocktail glass. Add crushed ice up halfway and stir for about 10 seconds. Fill the glass with more crushed ice, and top it off with the Prosecco and ginger beer. Garnish your glass with a thyme sprig and tangerine slice, and enjoy!
