Fennel Prosecco Fizz

  • 5 ounces Torresella Prosecco

  • 1.5 ounces red bitter liqueur

  • 1 ounce simple syrup

  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup fennel fronds

  • 6 lemon wheels

  • Ice

  • 2  (2" long) lemon peel strips and fennel sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions

Add simple syrup, red bitter liqueur, fennel fronds, lemon wheels, and ice to a cocktail shaker.  Shake well.


Strain the shaker mixture into two cocktail glasses with ice and top each off with Torresella Prosecco.


Gently squeeze a lemon peel, about two inches in length, over each drink, expressing the oils, and drop it into the glass. Garnish with a sprig of fennel, and enjoy!
